Ingredients

Sweet Potatoes

  • 1 pound sweet potatoes ((500 g))
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons light olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt ((or to taste))

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Peel and cut sweet potatoes into wedges. Toss with cornstarch to coat evenly.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Toss sweet potato wedges in the mixture.
  • Arrange wedges on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or as a side dish.

Notes

For extra crispiness, flip the wedges halfway through roasting.
