A flavorful and spicy noodle soup featuring shrimp, dumplings, and creamy ramen broth, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pack Buldak Creamy Carbonara ramen
  • 8 raw shrimp shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 6 frozen dumplings dumplings (gyoza or potstickers)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil for sautéing
  • 1 green onion green onion, sliced
  • 1 soft-boiled egg soft-boiled egg
  • to taste Chili crisp Chili crisp
  • to taste Sesame seeds Sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • In a medium pot over medium heat, add the neutral oil. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce. Bring to a gentle boil.
  • Add frozen dumplings and cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  • Drop in shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Add ramen noodles and cook for 2 minutes until tender.
  • Lower heat, stir in Buldak sauce packet and sesame oil. Mix until smooth. Do not boil once added.
  • Ladle into bowls, garnish with green onions, soft-boiled egg, chili crisp, and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lime or additional chili oil.
