  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch (essential for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons Water (to create slurry)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions (sliced for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken thighs and sear in a skillet until golden brown, then set aside.
  • In the same pan, combine soy sauce, water, ketchup, garlic, honey, and ginger; bring to a simmer.
  • Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, then add to the sauce to thicken.
  • Return chicken to the pan, coat with the glaze, and cook until fully cooked and sticky.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
