Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Sauces & Condiments

  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest

Oils & Sweeteners

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Garlic & Spices

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for added heat)

For Serving

  • Fresh cilantro or lime wedges (optional)

Instructions 

  • Whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice and zest, olive oil, honey, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade.
  • Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high and oil the grates.
  • Remove chicken from marinade and grill 6–7 minutes per side until cooked through. Baste with marinade if desired.
  • Let rest 5 minutes, then garnish with cilantro or lime wedges and serve.

Notes

Marinating longer enhances flavor. Serve with rice or grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
