A quick and flavorful baked salmon recipe glazed with sweet chili sauce, perfect for a healthy and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound fresh salmon (cut into 4 pieces)
  • to taste none salt
  • to taste none pepper
  • 0.25 cup Thai sweet chili sauce (or to taste)
  • to serve none lime juice (for squeezing over)
  • optional none rice (serve with jasmine rice)
  • optional none cucumber (serve as side)
  • optional none scallions (for garnish)
  • optional none cilantro (for garnish)
  • optional none sesame seeds (sprinkled on top)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
  • Place salmon skin-side down, season with salt and pepper, and spread about 1 tablespoon of chili sauce on each piece.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes until flaky. Adjust time for thicker fillets.
  • Squeeze lime juice over the salmon and serve with rice, cucumber, scallions, cilantro, and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Using fresh ingredients and adjusting chili sauce to taste enhances flavor.
