A comforting and hearty casserole featuring ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, and crispy tater tots.
Ingredients

can (10.5 oz)
cream of mushroom soup

cup
sour cream

onion, diced

shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1
bag (32 oz)
frozen tater tots
salt and pepper, to taste
optional seasonings: garlic powder, paprika, or any favorite spices
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown ground beef in a skillet, add onions, season, and drain fat.
Stir in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream, heat through.
Spread beef mixture in a greased casserole dish, top with 1 cup cheese and tater tots.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until tater tots are golden, then add remaining cheese and bake 5 more minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite spices to the beef mixture.
