Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup butter softened
  • 2 medium tomatoes diced
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  • Slice the bread and spread garlic butter evenly.
  • Top with diced tomatoes, chopped basil, and shredded mozzarella.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush the bread with olive oil before baking.
