Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour the cake pans.
Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the batter, mixing gently.
Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 30 minutes. Cool before frosting.
