Instructions
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; wait 5 minutes until bubbling.
Mix whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and herbs; add olive oil and gradually incorporate yeast mixture to form a slightly sticky dough.
Knead dough briefly on floured surface, shape into a ball, and let rise in a greased bowl covered with plastic wrap for 1.5-2 hours until doubled.
Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C), line baking sheet with parchment, press dough into rectangle, and let rest covered for 30 minutes.
Rub top with olive oil, dimple with fingers, add toppings like herbs, olives, and cheese, then bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
